Heard Studios uses Japanese-style sizing from 1 to 5. Think of it as a scale of proportion, not gender: 1 is the most compact, 5 is the most oversized. Fit is intentionally relaxed, with room to layer and move. Use your usual preference (close vs easy vs oversized) to choose your number.

Unisex sizing translation

Women: your typical size maps to a lower number unless you want an oversized silhouette. Men: your typical size maps to a higher number if you prefer a relaxed or layered fit. As a guide: Women XS-S = 1-2, M = 3, L-XL = 4-5; Men XS-S = 2-3, M = 3-4, L-XL = 4-5. If you are between sizes, choose down for clean and sharp, up for volume and drape.
