Heard Studios - Returns & Refunds
We believe in the pieces we create. Every garment from Heard Studios is designed to be an investable addition to your wardrobe - crafted with intention and built to last. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item meets the following conditions:
- Item is unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
- All original tags and labels are attached
- Item is in its original packaging
- Item shows no signs of wear, perfume, deodorant, or damage
Items that cannot be returned:
- Items worn, washed, or altered in any way
- Items without original tags
- Items returned after 14 days from delivery date
- Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
- Custom or made-to-order pieces (if applicable)
How to Initiate a Return
To begin your return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at tarishtrivedi@heardstudios.com within 14 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and the reason for return
- Our team will review your request and respond within 24–48 hours
- Once approved, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions
Please do not send returns without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.
Return Shipping
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit
- Please include your Return Authorization Number inside the package

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund.
If approved:
- Your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
- Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account
If not approved:
- We will notify you of the reason (e.g., signs of wear, missing tags, exceeded return window)
- The item will be returned to you at your expense
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or style, please:
- Initiate a return for your original purchase
- Place a new order for the desired item
This ensures faster processing and guarantees availability of your preferred piece.
Defective or Incorrect Items
We take great care in our quality control process. However, if you receive an item that is:
- Defective (manufacturing fault)
- Damaged during shipping
- Incorrect (wrong item or size shipped)
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at tarishtrivedi@heardstudios.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the defect, damage, or incorrect item
We will arrange for a prepaid return label and offer you a choice of:
- Full refund to your original payment method
- Replacement item (subject to availability)
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after the processing period:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company — it may take time for the refund to be officially posted
- Contact your bank — there is often processing time before a refund is reflected
- If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at tarishtrivedi@heardstudios.com
Cancellations
Before dispatch: If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately at tarishtrivedi@heardstudios.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, though cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
After dispatch: Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled. Please wait to receive your order and then initiate a return if needed.
Sale & Promotional Items
Items purchased during sales or promotional periods are subject to the same return policy unless explicitly marked as "Final Sale."
Final Sale items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
