Self/Control
self/control is a meditation on duality: the discipline we impose on ourselves and the desires that shape us in spite of it. We examine private negotiations beneath the surface of everyday life: the boundaries we set, the impulses we manage, the quiet rituals to try and understand who we are becoming.
Control is framed as a language of self-respect rather than restraint. Structural silhouettes, tailored frameworks, and utilitarian closures coexist with softness, ease, and emotional openness. The palette is restrained, built from tones that age with dignity. The textures carry memory; the details carry intention. Every stitch is designed to feel necessary. Seven investment pieces - each one a quiet luxury, built from Japanese raw denim, worsted merino wool, and Japanese cotton twill.
The collection lives in the tension between formality and feeling - between the urge to contain and the need to release.
